Happy 404 Day 2024.
I wanted to make a tape: 4 tracks made almost* entirely with my SP-404SX, and 4 made entirely with my SP-404 MKII.

I've always been enamored with the SP-404: it looked cool, seemed inviting, challenging in a fun way, was way cheaper and more accessible than the other stuff on the market, and the stuff i heard come from it and its lineage was nothing short of phenomenal.

I got my SP-404SX in 2019, and embarked on a journey / joined a community that's been amazing, and only keeps getting better.
I got a bunch more Roland samplers since, culminating with the groundbreaking MKII in 2022. They're all fun, incredible machines; I hope this [and all my music, made on the SP units only] shows my passion and affinity for these machines.

The tape is 8 beats: Quick, dirty, with that Hip Hop flavor: everything we know and love about the beloved SP-404 line of samplers. Hope you enjoy.
